With a Diploma of Counselling or an Advanced Diploma of Counselling, you can work as a counselling practitioner in the non-government or government sector.
You can also work as psychotherapists or social workers in a range of settings including hospitals, mental health services, schools, community-based agencies and private practices. You can also work as a counsellor or psychotherapist in the community sector or private practice, or as a social worker in government agencies or non-government organisations.
